Hi ladies!  Not sure if you remember back in August when I did the photoshoot with Place d'Orleans but today I'm sharing the on-set footage I took during the day.

We shot all day long, and three campaigns: Fall, Winter & Holiday.  The Fall campaign is currently up on their website, Facebook page, transit shelters around the city and the mall doors.

I wanted to vlog the day so I could share with you what goes on behind-the-scenes.  To say this is a normalcy would be far from the truth.  I'm no model and this was a super cool experience that certainly doesn't happen everyday.  Kudos to the real models out there because that is a difficult job.

As always, thanks for watching!

Happy Friday!  It's October, which actually might be one of my favourite months, if I think about it.  I really love Fall, the fashion is the best & the temperatures are kind of crisp and fresh.  Plus, Thanksgiving--my favourite meal--and Halloween are coming which is just awesome, so there's that. Lastly, coffee, so much better in the Fall, right?  Yes.

What are you up to this weekend?  Marco and I going to spend the weekend with his Mom.  I'm looking forward to seeing her, our nieces and nephew and wearing my new boots.  Hope you have a great weekend!

I want this in my closet so bad.

Love this Instagram account & girl for workout moves.

How beautiful would this affordable dress be for a bride for her shower or bachelorette?

This made me LOL.

I've made these healthier oatmeal cookies twice this week.  #unrealgood

Ever thought about lip injections?  Interesting to hear about someone's experience.

But first...

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago when it was still warm, and although it looks pretty washed out, the pants are actually grey.  I love how the black flats anchor the look but threw on a black pendant to balance it out a little.

TANK (TIED IN A KNOT AT BACK)  |  SKIRT

I'm definitely more of a pants girl, but this skirt was really pretty on (and office-appropriate in length and style).  I ended up leaving it (and taking home these flares instead) but I did scoop up the tank, which is a cropped style.

September was the worst month of the year, as we lost Marco's father.  I talk a bit more about it here, but wanted to share that right away before getting into a few happier moments that were had before that.

We celebrated our anniversary in Montebello at the beginning of the month, which was really special.  We stayed overnight, had massages and a great dinner.

We watched our close friends get married and danced the night away (remember the engagement party, bridal shower & bachelorette?), I tried out Pure Kitchen with a friend (#yum) and met up with my out-of-town cousins for dinner one evening.  I shared a video on what shoes to wear with flares, worked out and cheered on the Jays.

O U T F I T  D E E T S :  PLAID TOP  |  URBAN PLANET BLACK SKINNIES (LOVE THESE)  |  HEELS  |  BAG  |  SUNNIES

Plaid is everywhere for Fall and it's the one pattern you need to jump on board with.  I'll admit, this isn't my usual go-to, and it feels a little more cowgirl than I tend towards but I love how the fabric is soft and flowy and the variety of colours this year!  I was drawn to a red one below but once I tried on the blue, it was a done deal.  It reminds me of this much pricier version.

To rock the plaid, try pairing it with some skinnies or boyfriend jeans, but pair with heels to keep the look chic.  I could also see this tucked into a pencil skirt with the tails out at the back for a playful, office look.  To dress it down, my girl friend ties hers around her waist with leggings & a muscle tee, throw on some sneakers & you're out the door.
